Faux Fur Hair Quality Comparison

There are two types of fur: shiny and non-shiny. All are faux fur.

To create the fur you want, you can either use white fur and color it, or use yarn-dyed fur of a similar color.
The yarn-dyed fur is more natural in coloration, but the white fur is more flexible in coloration. Which is better? We will consult with the client to determine which is best for them, depending on the color of the fur they wish to express, etc.

There are two types of fur: glossy and unglossy.

The left side of the photo shows glossy fur, and the right side shows unglazed fur.
The glossy fur will give a more beautiful finish. The matted fur is closer to realistic animal fur, but this may be the client’s preference.

Is glossy fur more like stuffed animal fur?

The fur is glossy without losing the animal fur look.
The fur has a more stuffed feel compared to the glossy fur.

If you want to pursue realism, would you go for the matted fur?

It is a matter of preference, but I mostly use matted fur. The reason is that my dog is a white dog and I thought that matted fur looks more like him. After all, if you are pursuing realism in animal hair fur, is it matte or matte-free?

The shiny fur is more beautiful and “plush” looking.

I’ve heard that shiny fur is a little more dense and of better quality, but I personally think it looks more realistic.
Personally, however, I recommend the non-glossy fur, which gives a more realistic animal fur look.
I recommend it.
In the end, it comes down to preference. You can choose whichever you prefer.
